Waiting on the Editors

Okay, so I'm really tired, I don't feel well, and yet... and yet somehow I am here at work. I have 12 more stories that I need to post online, and they aren't done yet. So I sit. In case you are wondering what I am talking about. - I am a web producer for the University Daily Kansan, and every Sunday I sit here, waiting to be free. It's not that I'm slow. No, I have done everything needed that I can possibly do, and now I sit here waiting for the finally stories to be looked over so that I can then go and post them and go home. Woo hoo. I don't ask for much... just sleep.... which tends to be a reoccuring theme with me. That and this sit around and waitness. I mean I was doing that at the other job today. I sat around and waited for someone to call. Ugh.

Oh, and this evening I needed to get on campus to go to work... and there was evidently a basketball game on campus and the cops had blocked off most of campus and there was no way to on campus. It sucked. And when I tried to tell one of the police officers that I need to get on campus to get to work he just yelled at me and said "I'm not arguing with you". I wasn't wanting to argue, I needed to get on campus. I just wanted to run him over. (don't worry, I didn't actually run him over, tempting though it was.) Instead I honked my horn at him in frustration and tried another way. I did eventually get on campus, where I now sit in boredom. Oh joy.
