Super Duct Tape to the Rescue

So my friend Bryan hooked me up with his friend, not to date, but to play for him. I play the cello. His friend Sam wanted me to come play christmas songs for his girlfriend for her christmas present. Oh, and he paid me $50. Which is awesome.

Bad News:

This morning I went to tune my cello, I was not exactly awake. This was a bad thing. I tried to tune my D string to G. Meaning I tried to tighten it wwaayyy too much. This caused it to snap. I only have four strings on my cello, and having three is a bad thing. Especailly on a Sunday when the music stores aren't open. So I had to be creative. Here enters the magic of duct tape.

Good News:

Duct tape has the ability to keep a broken string together to allow me to make $50 extremely needed dollars. Yay duct tape. I love thee.


The Body you see above is not mine, it is the body of my dog Holly. My parents are out of town in Colorado til Tuesday and she is staying with me. Since she is Holly the Christmas puppy I figured she would be an appropriate if not active background for my rendition of Angels we have heard on high. I'm plucking because my hand hurts too much to bow.
