Okay, so I'm currently sitting in training for the website that the Re/Max office uses. Yay. We're having fun with bad connections and other bits of funness. We're basically being taught things that I pretty much already know. But I had to learn them the hard way... good ol' trial & error. Just like the old days out on the prairie- rattle snake = bad. You figure this out about the time you see the third person die after attempting to pet it.
This morning I was heading to work, late. And then I became later. I was driving east bound 435, and my car stopped accelarating. Uh-oh. So I pulled off on Quiviera. But then my car
started working again, so I decided to go ahead and get to work, so I U-ied it and started to get back on the highway when my car died.... okay, it's not died, yet. But it's currently in a coma. We're waiting for a professional's opinion on if it is terminal. Yet to be known. I had to call 911 to get a cop to come sit behind me so no one would hit me, and we figured that I might be able to coast back down the road to the on ramp to 435, where there are actually shoulders, unlike where I was, in the turn lane. The cop said I couldn't stay where I currently was because I WOULD get hit. Nice. So I got to a "safe" stopping point, had my mom come pick me up, and take me to work. And here I am now. Not really sure what's going on. I'm supposed to have Hype 7 practice tonight, but now I don't know if I can go. I can catch a ride with Joe, but then I'm still stuck without a car. I'll keep you posted. Wish me luck. :)
